In addition, a number of Fine Art Festivals are also produced featuring paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, graphics, and jewelry. Several of PFA's festivals have been ranked in the top 200 outdoor festivals in the country by Sunshine Artists Magazine.

Oct. 18-19 - The 5th annual South Lake Tahoe Food and Wine Festival at Harrah's and Harveys Lake Tahoe brings an autumn weekend of great food, fine wine and high spirits.

Lake Tahoe Kokanee Salmon Festival

Oct. 5-6 - Fall Fish Fest is an annual event that allows attendees to participate in outdoor activities, trail runs and interactive theater.

Hangtown Halloween Ball

Oct. 24-26 - Join Railroad Earth and many other great acts spanning musical genres of blue-grass, rock, folk, and more for a weekend festival in Placerville, California.

Camp Richardson's Oktoberfest

Oct. 4-5 - A local's favorite, this festival features great food, music, family games & activities, and the famous Beer and Wine Garden.

36th Annual Freaker's Ball at MontBleu

Oct. 25 - For more than three decades MontBleu has hosted the largest, weirdest Halloween costume party, long considered one of the West Coast's favorites.

Valhalla Annual Holiday Faire

Nov. 22-24 - This annual holiday faire has local vendors and artists with hand-made items for purchase, along with Santa Claus and music.

Lake Tahoe's Chocolate, Wine and Roses Festival

Nov. 8 - Every year, Lake Tahoe's Chocolate, Wine and Roses Festival tantalizes taste buds with an abundance of wine, food and entertainment from local businesses. This event is a seasonal favorite!

New Year's in Lake Tahoe – The SnowGlobe Music Fest

Dec. 29-31 - Lake Tahoe is definitely the place to be this New Year's Eve. Aside from Tahoe's renown fireworks events that boast colorful displays over the reflective lake, Tahoe is also this year's host for the SnowGlobe Music Festival, kicking off Dec. 29 in Bijou Park on the Lake Tahoe Community College campus.

Lake Tahoe Learn to Ski and Board Weekend
